This way, they are more likely to see them. The ads located above <strong>the fold<\/strong> are immediately visible whereas the ones below won\u2019t be displayed from the beginning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>When <strong>the browser connects to the web server<\/strong>, the entire web page loads. This happens whether or not the user can see the ads.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lazy loading means that the ads that are not visible at the opening of a web page are not loaded. They\u2019ll only load when the user scrolls down to where they are located on the page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can therefore understand that lazy loading retrieves ads as the user scrolls a web page and then displays them when they are at a certain level of the display window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where can lazy loading apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It can work with a <strong>CMS<\/strong> like WordPress thanks to a plugin. It is better to apply it to <strong>ads located below the webpage fold<\/strong> because it enables the reduction of latency effect. The ads visible from the first screen without scrolling do not need lazy loading.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the advantages of lazy loading?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It increases the user experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ads can require lots of resources and publishers have a performance goal linked to speed and ad display on a web page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lazy loading helps publishers in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The ads are only loaded if they are likely to be seen.
