How to re-engage your current audience?

When you have a website or a blog, you constantly need to grow your audience. The next big challenge is to re-engage your current one. It is important to keep up the interest and the engagement of your audience to benefit from it. We are going to give you 4 ways to do that.

Be consistent and have varied content

This can seem contradictory at first sight, so let’s deepen this re-engagement tactic. Whether you’re trying to re-engage your audience on your website, newsletter or social media, you have to remain consistent. As humans, we like schedules and predictability. So if your public can count on a Facebook post about the product of the week each tuesday morning, they will expect it.

Bet on a blog

If you want people to visit your website, one of the best things you can do is to create a blog. According to a Hubspot study, 55% of marketers say creating a blog is their first inbound marketing tactic. It is easy to share old articles that you can update regularly to keep up the interest. Make sure you are regular in your blog posts, as we discussed earlier.

Retarget your emailing list

Email marketing is a great way to reach your audience and to stay on their mind. If you have many landing pages which brought people to your emailing list, you have to make sure your content is targeted for those people. Some visitors might have subscribed for a free ebook and won’t be interested in the same things as the one who subscribed for an online class for instance.

Launch a contest

If you’re looking for a quick way to re-engage your audience, you can organize a contest. Not only will it work, but people will probably share it on their social media. Contests can be a great way to refresh the interest of your audience and encourage people to engage even more with your website or blog.

It is essential to have an engaged audience which visits your website frequently. Don’t forget that the more people visit and interact with your site’s ads, the more revenue you generate. Beyond revenue, having an active audience is important to create a community to interact with. That is the best way to build trust.
